Our Services
At West End Orthopaedic Clinic we are proud to offer Specialty Bracing to our patients. Our Certified Orthotic Fitters provide professional measurements for custom braces as well as "off the shelf" versions. We also provide brace fittings, adjustments and patient education. Upon visiting a West End Orthopaedic physician, specialty bracing may be recommended. Most braces will be measured and fitted immediately to within 5 business days. Ask your doctor if bracing is an option for you.
From devices that are designed as alternatives to surgical treatment, to post-operative protection, to active support for athletes, our Certified Fitters offer a wide range of Orthotic care - customized to your needs.
Bracing Equipment (Orthoses)
Knee - We offer a wide range of bracing specific to the knee. These include non-functional post op bracing following ACL/trauma diagnoses, off-the-shelf and custom functional bracing for ligament/instability issues and unloader bracing, both off-the-shelf and custom for osteoarthritis/knee deformities.
Upper Extremities - We offer elbow and shoulder orthoses for post operative and functional use both custom and off-the-shelf.
Spinal - Depending on the diagnosis, patients can be fitted from simple corsets to Lumbo-Sacral (LSO), Thoraco-Lumbo-Sacral (TLSO), Semi-rigid Cervical collars and Cervico-Thoraco Orthoses (CTO).
Ankle - We strive for comfort from off-the-shelf hinged ASO's (Ankle Stabilizing Orthosis) to customized AFO's (Ankle-Foot Orthosis).
