The goals of our Extended Hours Clinics are to provide:
- Improved access to specialty orthopaedic care for patients, injured athletes, those injured at work, and referring physicians
- Certified orthopaedic PA's to evaluate, treat, and establish a plan of care in conjunction with a West End Orthopaedic Clinic physician specialist
- Cost-effective after-hours orthopaedic care
Immediate care is provided for the following injures:
- Suspected fractures
- Sprains & strains
- Sports-related injuries
- Acute onset low back & leg pain
- Acute onset neck & arm pain
- Tendonitis/bursitis
Insurance/Payment:
The cost of an Extended Hours visit is considerably less than an Emergency Room visit and is covered by those insurance plans that currently participate with West End Orthopaedic Clinic. Some insurance plans may require a referral prior to treatment.
